Week 3 has passed-by and the next-up is Week 4!

Another-week coming to an end meant that another act's journey came to an end.

The contestants did all they could with Guilty Pleasures Week, on a Saturday night to win YOUR votes, which remained open until last-night's Results' Show.

After performances from Michael Buble and our very-own Cheryl Cole, whose new single 'Promise This' topped the Big Top 40 (iTunes Chart) this week, the all-important results were finally revealed.

10 acts went through but ending-up in the bottom-two were Treyc Cohen and John Adeleye, which saw them battling it-out for the judges' vote in the Final Showdown!

John was first to perform in the sing-off, choosing 'Because Of You' (by Kelly Clarkson)

Treyc was the last of the two to perform, singing 'One Night Only' (by Jennifer Hudson)

After two intense performances from both John and Treyc, it was the judges' turn to do their bit and what a difficult decision it turned-out to be.

Louis was first to decide and deciding to defend his act, he decided to send home..........TREYC.

Dannii was next-up and she decided to send home..........JOHN.

Cheryl was next-up and she too, decided to defend her act and decided to send home..........JOHN.

Left with the casting-vote was Simon and after some-time, he decided to send home..........JOHN.

So Week 3 saw John Adeleye eliminated from the show, with Treyc Cohen going through to Week 4.

The X Factor Series 7 - LIVE show 2, Results Show 2

DAYS LEFT FOR 4TH X FACTOR LIVE SHOW: Only 4 days to go!
DAYS LEFT FOR 4TH X FACTOR LIVE RESULTS' SHOW: Only 5 days to go!

DAYS LEFT FOR RELEASE OF JOE McELDERRY'S DEBUT ALBUM
: Only 6 days to go! (25th October)

DAYS LEFT FOR RELEASE OF JLS' NEW ALBUM 'OUTTA THIS WORLD': With 34 days to go (22nd November)

DAYS LEFT FOR RELEASE OF SHAYNE WARD'S NEW SINGLE 'GOTTA BE SOMEBODY': With 19 days to go (7th November)

DAYS LEFT FOR RELEASE OF SHAYNE WARD'S NEW ALBUM 'OBSESSION': Only 27 days to go! (15th November)

With 2 LIVE shows and 2 Results' Shows already passed, it is Week 3 which is next!

Nicolo and F.Y.D were the first 2-acts to leave The X Factor, the journey was all over for another 2-acts last-week.

Dermot revealed the all-important results after a returning performance from 2008 X Factor star Diana Vickers and stand-in X Factor judge Katy Perry, whose performance didn't seem to go-well for some people.

The 3 acts that received the fewest votes were......STORM......BELLE AME and......DIVA FEVER.

The sing-off was between Diva Fever and Belle Ame after Storm was automatically eliminated, having received the least of votes out of the 3 acts.

After what could have been the last of performances from both Diva Fever and Belle Ame, it was now down to the judges to decide.

Louis was first-up and he decided to send-home......DIVA FEVER.

Dannii was next and she, like Louis, decided to send home.....DIVA FEVER.

Cheryl was next-up to decide and after some-time, she decided to send-home.....DIVA FEVER.

So sadly, Diva Fever's X Factor journey came to an-end, with Simon not having to make a decision because of the votes from the judges.

Whilst for Belle Ame, their X Factor journey continues into another-week, which now means that there are 12 acts remaining in the competition!

Want to re-live of that action? You can watch both The X Factor and The Xtra Factor online NOW on the ITV Player @ www.itv.com/itvplayer

Good luck to our eliminated acts and to our 12 remaining acts, the judges/mentors, the presenters and everyone of the X Factor team!
