The wait finally came to an end as the new series of The X Factor launched with a BANG!!!!!!
The launch attracted around 9.9 million viewers. That is a great start to the series!!!!!
Simon, Cheryl, Dannii and Louis began their search for the next potential X Factor winner in London, Manchester and Glasgow!
The judges met sisters' Dreamgirls first, whose performance of Robbie Williams' hit 'Angels' did not impress the judges.
Not a good start but until 19-year old Stacey Solomon performed 'What A Wonderful World', the moods of the judges had changed! Stacey's performance really impressed not only the judges but the audience as well. We'll see more of Stacey in the Boot Camp!
Later on, we saw the familiar face of Emma Chawner, who was on the show in 2007 and 2008 and in those occasions, did not impress the judges but this time, she brought her sister Sam along with her to audition.
However, neither Simon, Cheryl, Dannii or Louis were impressed so it was 4 NOs from them!
Next up was Joseph McElderry and his performance of 'Dance With My Father' really moved the judges that they definitely had to send him off to Boot Camp! We'll see more of Joseph in Boot Camp.
