After 6 sets of auditions and the Boot Camp, the final 24 acts have been selected and the judges have fianlly been given their categories.

The LIVE shows are almost approaching and the excitement will continue into next week!

The judges' wait finally ended but they discovered their categories in a more surprising way! Whichever room they were told to go in had the acts.

Simon, who was awarded the Boys category last year, has been awarded the 25 AND OVERS category this year.

Cheryl was next and she was this time, awarded the BOYS category!

Next up was Louis and he was awarded the same category again! You guessed it, the GROUPS!

Last up was Dannii and she was awarded last year's winning category, the GIRLS!

The final 24 acts will travel to their mentors' houses as they continue their X Factor journey.

Here are the 6 acts in each of the categories and the judges/mentors will have a hard-decision to make who will progress through to the LIVE shows!
