We now enter a new-week as the search for the next X Factor winner continues!

The X Factor Series 7 - The Auditions week 1
DAYS LEFT FOR RELEASE OF OLLY MURS' DEBUT SINGLE 'PLEASE DON'T LET ME GO': Only 6 days to go!(29th August)
DAYS LEFT FOR RELEASE OF ALEXANDRA BURKE'S NEW SINGLE 'START WITHOUT YOU': Only 13 days to go!(5th September)
DAYS LEFT FOR RELEASE OF JOE McELDERRY'S DEBUT ALBUM: With 63 days to go!(25th October)
So we are now officially into the 7th series of The X Factor!
The search began last-weekend as our judges Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh, alongside a number of guest judges, which included ex-Spice Girl, Geri Halliwell, as they travelled all-across the country to search for the next-winner of the £1 million recording contract!
A great-start to the auditions as the judges met 41-year old Steven Hunter, whose version of 'Disco Inferno' left everyone impressed. A great-start was just what everyone was looking-for and that's exactly what happened.
It was decision-time and it was a YES for Steven from all 4-judges. We'll see more of him in Bootcamp.
Another auditionee were Diva Features. They performed 'Waiting For A Star To Fall' but it
did not go-well and their X Factor dream has not become a reality.
The judges started to glance at each-other after 18-year old Gamuchirai said she was going to perform her rendition of 'Walking In Sunshine' and it was more than enough to leave the judges in-awe.
She is off to Bootcamp as her X Factor journey continues.
However, very-shocking moments were aired with the moment when Cheryl collapsed, which was a result of contracting malaria.
Missed any-of the action? You can watch both The X Factor and The Xtra Factor online NOW on the ITV Player @ www.itv.com/itvplayer
Or you can watch the repeat of The X Factor this Friday at 6:30pm only on ITV2!
Want the repeat of all the backstage action? Don't forget to tune into ITV2 with the repeat of The Xtra Factor this Friday at 8:00pm!
Don't miss it, guys!
The first-week of auditions may have come to-an end but the search is not-over yet!
Good luck to this year's auditionees, the judges/mentors, the presenters and everyone of the X Factor team!

LUCIE JONES

eXtra NEWS
Cheryl Cole, who is still continuing her recovery from malaria, was recently photographed at a Starbucks in Surrey. These were the first photographs taken since she contracted the disease.
This resulted in her being absent from The X Factor, which saw Pussycat Dolls' star Nicole Scherzinger stand-in for her.
Also, there have been some changes to the format of the show this year.
Instead of 6-acts that go through to the Judges' Houses round from the Bootcamp stage, it will be 8-acts that will go-through to that round this-year.
The Boys' and Girls' category has also-changed as the age limit has increased to 28, which means that anyone under-28 would be included into the categories.
Another piece of news is that next-month, will see the launch of the brand-new Official X Factor magazine!!!! Now we cannot wait for that!!!!
Good luck to the auditionees, the judges/mentors, the presenters and everyone of the X Factor team!!!!!
