The X Factor Series 7 - LIVE show 8, Results' Show 8
DAYS LEFT FOR X FACTOR LIVE SEMI-FINAL SHOW: Only 5 days to go!
DAYS LEFT FOR X FACTOR LIVE SEMI-FINAL RESULTS' SHOW: Only 6 days to go!
Another-week of X Factor action is over and we are not-long away from the Final!
Rock Week saw a double-elimination, which meant that the curtains of an X Factor journey closed for 2 acts, which also meant that 5 acts made it through to the upcoming Semi-Final, which is only 5 days away!
The contestants did all they could to win YOUR votes and the result was finally revealed!
The 3 acts that received the fewest of votes were Mary, Wagner and Katie.
The first-act to go-out due to the lowest-number of votes was........KATIE.
So it was the end of the road for Katie Waissel, resulting in Wagner and Mary battling-it out for the final place for the Semi-Final, which was to be decided in the Final Showdown.
After 2 sing-off performances from both acts, it was down to the judges' to decide.
First-up was Louis, who mentored both acts. He decided to send-home........WAGNER.
Next-up was Dannii and took a short-time by decided to send-home........WAGNER.
Cheryl was next-up and she. like the other 2 judges, decided to send home........WAGNER.
So Simon did not have to decide as 3 votes for Wagner resulted in the Brazilian's time on the show coming to an end, meaning that Mary Byrne secured the last-place for the Semi-Final.
So it was Katie and Wagner that were eliminated from the show. We wish the both the best of luck for the future!
