DAYS LEFT FOR X FACTOR LIVE GRAND-FINAL SHOW: Only 5 days to go!
DAYS LEFT FOR X FACTOR LIVE GRAND-FINAL RESULTS' SHOW: Only 6 days to go!
We now have our final 4 acts for the highly-anticipated Grand Final this coming weekend!
After a night of performances from the contestants, all they could do is wait and for the results and they were finally revealed last-night, after some great performances from former winner Alexandra Burke, whose deluxe edition of album 'Overcome' released today!
Plus, we also had the Black Eyed Peas and the cast from hit US TV show Glee wowing the audience last-night!
The first-act that named for the Final was..........ONE DIRECTION!
The second-act that secured a place was..........REBECCA!
One-more act had secured a place and that act was..........MATT!
So the sing-off was between Cher Lloyd and Mary Byrne, meaning that they'd have to perform for the judges' vote in the Final Showdown for the last remaining place in the Final.
Nothing-more they could have done than perform and it was decision-time for the judges, who had to pick which act should go through.
Louis was first to decide and sticking with his act, he decided to put through was..........MARY.
Dannii was next-up and after a while, she decided to put through..........CHER.
Cheryl was next-up and she too, stuck with her act and decided to put through..........CHER.
The casting-vote was with Simon and for some-time, he decided to put through..........CHER.
So Cher secured the last-place in the Grand-Final, which sadly ended Mary Byrne's X Factor journey, which also resulted in the Over 28s category becoming the first to have no acts left.
Want to see all of last-weekend's action? You can watch both The X Factor and The Xtra Factor online NOW on the ITV Player @ http://www.itv.com/itvplayer
Good luck to Mary and the 4 remaining acts, the judges/mentors, the presenters and everyone of the X Factor team!
