The X Factor Series 8 - LIVE show weekend 4
DAYS LEFT FOR 5TH X FACTOR LIVE SHOW: Only 5 days to go!
DAYS LEFT FOR 5TH X FACTOR LIVE RESULTS' SHOW: Only 6 days to go!
A Halloween theme was set for Weekend 4 of The X Factor, as the 10 acts performed on that live stage on a Saturday-night in their bid to remain in the race for that £1 million recording-contract!
Saturday-night was all-about the performances but Sunday-night was all-about the results!
After seeing former contestant Cher Lloyd performing her new single 'With Ur Love' and X Factor USA judge Nicole Scherzinger performing 'Try With Me,' it was time to reveal those all-important results, discovering the 8 acts who booked their place for Weekend 5 and which 2 acts had sadly ended-up in the bottom-two.
The first act through to Weekend 5 was..........KITTY.
The second-act making-it through to next-week's show were..........THE RISK.
The third-act who had made it-through was..........CRAIG.
Another act booking their place for Weekend 5 were..........LITTLE MIX, which also meant that both of Tulisa's Groups' were safely through to next-week's show.
The fifth-act who progressed to Weekend 5 was..........MARCUS.
The sixth-act going-through to next-week's show was..........JOHNNY, meaning that both of Louis' Over 25s had made it-through.
The seventh-act who made it-through to Weekend 5 was..........JANET.
So only 3 acts were left on that stage with Misha B, Frankie and Sophie and only 1 place from the public-vote was up-for-grabs.
That last and final place from was scooped by..........FRANKIE.
So the Final Showdown was between Misha B and Sophie as they received the fewest-votes in the public-vote, which also meant that both contestants had to compete with each-other for the judges' vote.
After their last-ditch performances' in-front of the judges, it was Decision Time for them!
Louis was first-up to decide and the act he decided to send home was..........SOPHIE.
Tulisa was next-up to decide and after a while, the N-Dubz star had decided to send-home..........SOPHIE.
Alexandra Burke, who stood-in for Kelly this-week, did not need to vote as the ex-Destiny's Child star spoke on the phone from Los Angeles, meaning that Kelly herself had to send one of her own-acts out of the competition.
After quite some-time, Kelly had decided to send-home..........SOPHIE.
So it was 3 votes to send Sophie home, which also meant that Gary did not-need to take a decision but was asked who he would have sent-home and he also said that he was to send home Sophie.
That last and final 9th-place went to Misha B, who makes-it through to next-week's show!

The X Factor Series 8 - LIVE Show weekend 2
DAYS LEFT FOR X FACTOR 3RD LIVE SHOW: Only 5 days to go!
DAYS LEFT FOR X FACTOR 3RD LIVE RESULTS' SHOW: Only 6 days to go!
So it was a Love & Heartache theme for Week 2 of The X Factor, as the 12 acts performed once-again on Saturday-night, whilst Sunday-night was decision night.
It was the first-week of this-year's X Factor that went into the public vote as the decision was down to the viewers' this-time round.
After a tense Saturday-night of performances from the 12 acts and also, guest-star performances from Katy Perry and The Wanted on Sunday-night, it was all-down to those all-important results' of the public vote!
The first-act that secured their place for Week 3 was..........THE RISK!
The second-act having secured a place was..........JANET!
The third-act who also secured a place for Week 3 was..........CRAIG!
The fourth-act making-it through to next-week's show was..........JOHNNY!
Another place for Week 3 was secure for........MISHA B!
The sixth-act who made it-through to Week 3 was..........SAMI!
Only 4 guaranteed places were left and one of those places was secured for..........RHYTHMIX!
The eighth-act having made-it through to Week 3 was..........SOPHIE!
So it was happy-days all-round for Kelly Rowland as all 3 of her acts were intact!
Back to business, another act who made-it through was..........KITTY!
It also meant that all 3 of Louis Walsh's acts' were intact as well!
So there was only 1 definite place available and the tenth-act who sealed that place was..........MARCUS!
So they were the 10 confirmed acts who made-it through to Week 3 but there was still 1 more place remaining!
It was Frankie and Nu Vibe that received the fewest-votes, meaning that they had to perform again in the Final Showdown for the judges' vote!
After Nu Vibe's performance of Cheryl Cole's 'Promise This' and Frankie's rendition of Daniel Merriweather's 'Red,' it was decision-time for the judges.
Gary was first to decide and with no-hesitation, he stayed loyal to his act, meaning that the Take That star decided to send-home..........NU VIBE.
Kelly was next and she decided to send-home..........NU VIBE.
Tulisa was next-up and staying-loyal to her act, the N-Dubz star opted to send-home.........FRANKIE.
The pressure of the casting-vote was down to Louis and after a while, he decided to send-home..........NU VIBE.
So the overall and final 11th-place went to Frankie, which also meant that all 3 of Gary's acts' remained intact as well. It also meant that the X Factor adventure was over for Nu Vibe.
Missed any of the action? You can watch both The X Factor and The Xtra Factor online NOW on the ITV Player @ http://www.itv.com/itvplayer
Good luck to the 11 remaining acts, the judges/mentors, the presenters and everyone of the X Factor team!

The X Factor Series 8 - LIVE show weekend 1
DAYS LEFT FOR 2ND X FACTOR LIVE SHOW: Only 5 days to go!
DAYS LEFT FOR 2ND X FACTOR LIVE RESULTS' SHOW: Only 6 days to go!
The first LIVE Show saw 16 acts take to that X Factor stage and do all they could to convince the judges/mentors that they had what it takes to remain in the competition.
Last-night's first LIVE Results' Show saw the final 16 whittled-down to the final 12, as it was the night the judges' had to decide on who stays and who goes!
After a night of performances from the 16 acts on Saturday-night and after guest-star performances from last-year's winner Matt Cardle and US star Cee Lo Green, it was time for the contestants to discover their fate in the competition.
The judges' had to choose 3 acts to put-through to next-week's show and first-up, it was Louis Walsh.
The first-act Louis decided to put-through was.....SAMI!
The next-act the Over 25's mentor had decided to put through was.....KITTY!
So there was only 1 place left and it was between Jonjo and Johnny and after a while, Louis decided to put-through.....JOHNNY!
That was the final 3 of the Over 25's selected but it meant the end of the X Factor journey for Jonjo Kerr.
With the Over 25's settled, it was Gary's turn to choose his final 3 acts!
The first act from the Boys' category that Gary decided to put-through was.....MARCUS!
A second-act was to be chosen and the Take That star had put-through.....CRAIG!
So it was only Frankie and James' left standing-on that stage, waiting to hear which of them had secured their berth in next-week's LIVE show.
The final-act to form the final 3 of the Boys' category was.....FRANKIE!
So the X Factor adventure was over for James Michael.
There were still 2 more categories to go and it was Tulisa who was next to reveal her decision, as she had to select 3 Groups for next-week!
The first-act the N-Dubz star had decided to put-through was.....RHYTHMIX!
The second-act the Groups' mentor had decided to put-through was.....THE RISK!
Only 2 Groups were left, with 1 more place up-for-grabs but that decision was down to Tulisa and in tears, she decided to put-through.....NU VIBE!
With the 3 Groups' selected meant that it was 2 Shoes whose X Factor journey had ended.
So the 9 acts were chosen and the last-mentor to reveal her decision was Kelly, who had to choose 3 acts from the Girls' category.
Kelly revealed that the first-act through was.....JANET!
The second-act that the ex-Destiny's Child star had decided to put-through was.....MISHA!
So it was between Amelia and Sophie for the last-remaining place for the next LIVE show and with a lot of emotion, Kelly had decided to put-through.....SOPHIE!
So it was Amelia, who opened the show on Saturday-night, that saw her X Factor adventure ending.
So that was all 4 categories' settled, which meant that Jonjo Kerr, James Michael, 2 Shoes and Amelia Lily were the FOUR acts' that sadly, left the £1 million recording-contract competition!
A dramatic-weekend it was for sure. A challenging Saturday-night for the contestants and a challenging Sunday-night for the judges!
Missed any of the action? You can watch both The X Factor and The Xtra Factor online NOW on the ITV Player @ http://www.itv.com/itvplayer
Good luck to the 12 remaining acts and eliminated acts, the judges/mentors, the presenters and everyone of the X Factor team!

It will be time to face.....the Judges' Decision!
Last-night was all-about the performances. Tonight, it's all-about the results!
The pressure was all-on the final 16 acts, who performed for the very-first time on that X Factor stage!
Now that pressure mounts on our judges Gary, Tulisa, Kelly and Louis, as they will have to eliminate 1 act from their categories, which will mean that FOUR acts will see their X Factor journeys come to an end tonight!
Dermot will have all the action from the 1st LIVE Results' Show as the final 16 acts will be whittled-down to the final 12, as the judges' will have to make a pressurising and difficult decision on who stays and who goes, as there is NO public vote this-week!
Also, last-year's winner Matt Cardle will perform his latest single 'Run For Your Life' and there'll be a performance from US star Cee Lo Green!
Elsewhere, Caroline and Olly will have all the reaction plus all the backstage action!
