DAYS LEFT FOR 2ND X FACTOR LIVE RESULTS' SHOW: Only 6 days to go!
The first-weekend of the LIVE shows began with the theme of Number Ones!
The final 12 acts' chosen from the Judges' Houses round were joined by 4 Wildcard acts, which turned it to the final 16 acts!
The selection of the Wildcard acts' came with a twist, as they were not the choice for their mentors but by their rivals!
With Louis picking Lola Saunders' for the Girls mentored by Cheryl, she had picked Stevi Ritchie for the Overs mentored by Simon, who had picked Jack Walton for the Boys mentored by Mel B, who had gone with Overload Generation for the Groups mentored by Louis.
So with the Wildcards' all selected, it was time for the performances, as the final 16 acts' performed for the first-time on that X Factor stage on Saturday-night for YOUR votes and to be a step closer in realising their X Factor dream!
They did all they could to win YOUR votes, so all they could do is wait for those all-important results!
After performances from Pharrell Williams' and Taylor Swift, it was time to reveal the first of the results, as it was a DOUBLE ELIMINATION.
With 13 places for up-for-grabs from the public vote, the 14th-place was up for-grabs through the judges' vote!
The first 2 acts' that made it through to next-week's show were..........FLEUR EAST.....and.....BEN HAENOW!
Another 2 acts' that secured enough votes to go through were..........LAUREN PLATT.....and.....PAUL AKISTER!
The next 2 acts' that had made it through to next-week's show were..........LOLA SAUNDERS.....and.....ONLY THE YOUNG!
Another 2 acts' that were definitely through were..........JACK WALTON.....and.....CHLOE JASMINE!
The next 2 acts' whom had also made it through to next-week's show were..........JAY JAMES.....and.....STEREO KICKS!
So with 10 acts' safely through, the results' were then revealed in single.
The 11th-act that made it through to next-week's show was..........ANDREA FAUSTINI!
The 12th-act also having gone through was..........STEVI RITCHIE!
It also meant that Simon's category was the first to have all 4 acts' intact!
The 13th and final place up-for-grabs from the votes went to..........JAKE QUICKENDEN!
So it also meant that like Simon, Mel B's category had all 4 acts' intact!
So the bottom-three was between Blonde Electra, Overload Generation and Stephanie Nala.
First-up, the act with fewer votes' and went out automatically was..........BLONDE ELECTRA.
So the dreaded Sing-Off for the judges' vote was between Overload Generation and Stephanie Nala.
After a first but nervy Sing-Off, it was time for the judges' to make their decision on who was seeing their X Factor journey come to an end.
Simon, who saw all 4 of his Overs' go through, was first-up and with no hesitation, he decided to send home..........OVERLOAD.
Cheryl was next-up and also with no hesitation, defended her act and opted to send home..........OVERLOAD.
Mel B, who saw all 4 of her Boys' go through, had belief in the Wildcard act she had chosen and on that note, decided to send home..........STEPHANIE.
Last-up was Louis and defending his act, he opted to send home..........STEPHANIE.
So with no majority vote meant DEADLOCK and once-again, it was back to the results of the vote.
The 2nd-act who had received the fewest of votes and out of the competition was..........OVERLOAD.
So the final 14th-place went to Stephanie Nala, meaning that Cheryl also had all 4 of her acts' intact.
Sadly, the X Factor journeys had ended for 2 of the Groups, as Blonde Electra and Overload Generation were the first 2 acts' to leave The X Factor.
