Tonight's result left everyone speechless!

After hard-to-call performances from our 8 acts last night, the result was finally out!

The Results' Show opened with a bang as the finalists performed Katy Perry's 'Hot N Cold' before our guest-stars Black Eyed Peas gave an exciting performance of their new single 'Meet Me Halfway'

That wasn't all. Giving an incredible performance of her new single 'Happy' was none-other than our very own X Factor diva and international superstar Leona Lewis!!!!!

It was back-to-business with the results as the 2 acts that received the fewest-votes were John & Edward and Lucie Jones, which meant that they had to perform in the Final Showdown!

It was now down to the judges to decide as both acts finished their performances,

First up was Louis and defending his act, he decided to send home..........LUCIE.

Dannii was next and she too, like Louis, defended her act and decided to send home..........JOHN & EDWARD.

Cheryl, who saw both her acts go through, decided to send home..........JOHN & EDWARD.

Last up was Simon, who saw all 3 of his acts go through and after some time, he decided to send home..........LUCIE.

With even-votes, the result went to Dead Lock once again and the act that received the fewest votes was..........LUCIE.

So sadly, Lucie's X Factor journey came to an end whilst for John & Edward, their journey continues into Weekend 6.

We sadly say goodbye to Lucie but we wish her luck in the future!

That's Weekend 5 over. Bring on Weekend 6!

Want to watch it again? You can both The X Factor and The Xtra Factor online through ITV Player @ http://www.itv.com/itvplayer.

Good luck to Lucie and the 7 remaining acts, the judges/mentors, the presenters and everyone of the X Factor team!
