The X Factor series 8 - LIVE Quarter-Final Weekend!
DAYS LEFT FOR X FACTOR LIVE SEMI-FINAL SHOW: Only 4 days to go!
DAYS LEFT FOR X FACTOR LIVE SEMI-FINAL RESULTS' SHOW: Only 5 days to go!
DAYS LEFT FOR RELEASE OF REBECCA FERGUSON's DEBUT ALBUM 'HEAVEN': Only 6 days to go!
Saturday-night, it was double of the excitement as the 5 acts performed twice on that X Factor stage with Guilty Pleasures and Heroes' night, in their bids to make-it through to the Semi-Final.
Meanwhile, on Sunday-night, it was all-about the tense results, which were the deciding factor!
After seeing some of this-year's X Factor finalists' return on-stage performing charity single 'Wishing On A Star' with JLS and One Direction and performances from both Jessie J and Xtra Factor host Olly Murs with the Muppets, it was time to reveal those all-important results.
The first-act who made-it through to the Semi-Final was..........AMELIA!
The second-act who booked a place in the Semi-Final was..........MARCUS!
Only 1 more place from the public vote was up-for-grabs and only Little Mix, Janet and Misha B were left on-stage waiting to find-out who secured that place.
The final-place from the public-vote went to..........LITTLE MIX!
So that meant that both Janet and Misha B were in the bottom-two, resulting in them performing for the judges' vote in the dreaded Final Showdown.
A tough and tense decision it was for the judges' but sadly, it had to be done.
Louis was first-up to decide and he decided to send-home..........JANET.
Tulisa was next to decide and the N-Dubz star decided to send-home..........JANET.
It was a difficult decision for Kelly because she was next-up to decide, having to choose to send one of her own acts home.
Kelly was unable to choose which act she was to send-home so the decision was down to the majority vote and as Louis and Tulisa decided to send Janet home, those votes had counted which meant that the X Factor journey ended for Janet Devlin.
Gary didn't need to decide but was asked who he would have sent home and he too, said he would have sent Janet home.
So it was Misha B who secured that final 4th-place in the Semi-Final and it was Janet who was eliminated from the competition.

Good luck to the 4 remaining acts, the eliminated acts, the judges/mentors, the presenters and everyone of the X Factor team!
