The X Factor series 11 - LIVE Quarter Final Weekend (X Factor Jukebox)

DAYS LEFT FOR THE X FACTOR LIVE SEMI-FINAL SHOW: Only 5 days to go!

DAYS LEFT FOR THE X FACTOR LIVE SEMI-FINAL RESULTS' SHOW: Only 6 days to go!

The race for that recording contract entered Week 8 with the Quarter Final and it was all about the Jukebox!

Saturday-night was all-about the performances as the 5 acts' performed not just one but TWO songs on the night, as they attempted to win YOUR votes which were to decide who was going to make it through to the Semi Final.

Sunday-night was all-about the results' on what was another action-packed night with more guest-star performances which also involved 2 former X Factor finalists' Union J and Ella Henderson and not to forget that Queen and Adam Lambert were on the bill too!

After the return performance from Union J, it was time to reveal the all-important results' on who had made it through to the Semi Final!

With 3 places up-for-grabs through the public vote, the 4th-remaining place was to be decided in the Sing Off.

The first-act who had made it through to the Semi Final was..........ANDREA!

The next-act who had also gone through was..........FLEUR!

The last place from the public vote went to..........BEN!

So it meant that the Sing Off was between Lauren Platt and Stereo Kicks, having to perform against each-other for the judges' vote.

But before their performance, there was still another guest-star performance to come from Ella Henderson!

After her return performance, it was the turn for the performances from Lauren who was first-up and with Stereo Kicks' performing last.

It was then decision time for the judges after the tense Sing Off.

Louis was first-up and keeping the faith with his act, opted to send home.....LAUREN.

Mel B was up-next and wanting to decide later, was given no choice and after some time, decided to send home.....LAUREN.

Cheryl was next-up and kept the faith with her act and decided to send home.....STEREO KICKS.

Simon was last-up with the casting vote and after a long-pause, decided to send home.....STEREO KICKS.

So with 2 votes each for Lauren and Stereo Kicks, it was DEADLOCK.

It was back to the results' of the public vote and the act who had received fewer votes was to leave the competition.

The act who had received fewer votes and going out of the competition was.....STEREO KICKS.

It also meant that Lauren Platt had secured the 4th-remaining place in the Semi Final but it also meant that for Stereo Kicks, their X Factor journey had sadly come to end.

It also meant that Louis was the first mentor to lose all his Groups' this-year.

So that was the action fron the LIVE Quarter Final Weekend, now it's all about The X Factor LIVE Semi Final Weekend, which is just 5 days away!
