DAYS LEFT FOR THE X FACTOR LIVE GRAND FINAL SHOW: Only 5 days to go!

DAYS LEFT FOR THE X FACTOR LIVE GRAND FINAL RESULTS' SHOW: Only 6 days to go!

The contest for the recording contract reached the Semi Final stage over the weekend!

The attention was all on the performances from the 4 semi-finalists on Saturday-night, as they did all they could with TWO songs in their attempts to win YOUR votes!

Sunday-night, the attention was on who was going to make it through to Wembley Arena for the Grand Final, with the night being all-about those al-important results!

After performances from X Factor USA's Fifth Harmony and last-year's X Factor winner Sam Bailey, it was time to reveal who made it through to the Grand Final.

With 2 places' up-for-grabs from the public vote, the 3rd-remaining place was set to be decided in the nerve-wracking Sing Off.

The first-act who had made it through to Wembley was..........FLEUR!

The last-place from the public vote went to..........BEN!

So it meant that Lauren Platt and Andrea Faustini had to perform for the judges' vote in the Sing Off, having received the fewest of votes.

They had to wait for their turn to perform because there was still another guest-star performance to come from Disney and Broadawy star Idina Menzel who was joined by BRIT and Grammy award-winning star Michael Buble, who turned out to be a surprise guest on the show!

Later on, the attention was on the dreading Sing Off, as Lauren and Andrea took on that X Factor stage performing against each other for the judges' vote.

With Lauren having performed first and Andrea performing last, it was time for the judges' to make their decision.

Cheryl was up-first and keeping the faith with her act, opted to send home.....ANDREA.

Mel was next-up to decide and with no hesitation, kept the faith with her act and opted to send home.....LAUREN.

Louis, who lost all of his acts' this-year, was next to decide and after some-time, he decided to send home.....LAUREN.

Last-up was Simon, who saw both his acts go through to the Grand Final and after a while, decided to send home.....LAUREN.

So the last-remaining place for the Grand Final went to Andrea Faustini, with also meant that for Lauren Platt, she finished in 4th-place but it was sadly the end of her X Factor journey.

So with the LIVE Semi Final Weekend gone, next-up is the LIVE Grand Final Weekend at Wembley Arena and this is where this-year's winner will be crowned!
