DAYS LEFT FOR 2nd X FACTOR LIVE RESULTS' SHOW: Only 7 days to go!

After a night of performances from the 12 acts on the first LIVE show yesterday, the decision was finally out tonight!

The Results' Show opened with a message of condolences following the tragic death of Boyzone's Stephen Gately. As it was confirmed earlier, Louis did not appear on the show tonight.

The night of entertainment started with all 12 acts performing Black Eyed Peas' 'I Gotta Feeling', which really lifted the mood tonight!

Last year's winner Alexandra Burke got everybody gobsmacked as her LIVE performance of her new single 'Bad Boys' left the whole atmosphere in a hot feeling, with Simon describing it as 'absolutely incredible'

That wasn't all, it was also the time for some rectifying from last night's show, with Dannii making an on-air apology over her comments on last night's performance by Danyl, which caused some controversy.

It was the performance we were all waiting for, by the man who mentored our acts and the man we've all been talking about. The return of.......Robbie Williams!!!!!

Robbie performed a World Exclusive to The X Factor, with his new single 'Bodies' and he clearly wooed the audience. His performance really showed how much of a fantastic entertainer he is. Great to have seen him after a long-time away!

Later on, it was back-to-business as those all-important results were to be revealed.

Ending up in the bottom-two were Kandy Rain and Rachel, so they had to perform in the Final Showdon for the judges' vote.

After what was some passionate performances from both acts, it was decision time for the judges.

Since Louis was not on tonight's show, it was certain that if he was around, he would have wanted to keep his act so his vote to send home would have been.......RACHEL.

Without the presence of Louis, Dannii was to make her decision and remaining loyal to her act, she decided to send home.......KANDY RAIN.

Cheryl was next and after quite a long pause, she decided to send home.......KANDY RAIN.

Last up was Simon and after some thought, he decided to send home.......RACHEL.

Which meant that the result went to DEAD-LOCK, meaning that the act with the lowest amount of votes would be eliminated from the competition.

The act that got the least votes was.......KANDY RAIN.

So the X Factor journey ended for Kandy Rain, meaning that Rachel secured the final place for next week's show.

We wish Kandy Rain the best of luck in the future.
