What a night and what a weekend it has been!
The 10 acts, after yesterday night's hard-to-call performances, did all they could to win YOUR votes!
Like every week, our judges Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Dannii Minogue and after missing 3 shows, Louis Walsh was back once again!
As they do, they made the comments and also defended their acts.
After our 10 acts performed Big Band hits yersterday, the result was out tonight!
It came with a big shock as the 2 acts that received the least-amount of votes were Miss Frank and Danyl Johnson, so they had to perform in the Final Showdown!
After Miss Frank's performance of 'Love Don't Live Here Anymore' and Danyl's sing-off performance of 'A Little Help From My Friends,' it was down to the judges to decide.
With all the judges expressing disbelief of the result, Louis was first to reveal his decision
His decision was to defend his act so he decided to send home......DANYL.
Simon was next and he too, like Louis, decided to defend his act so he decided to send home......MISS FRANK.
Dannii, who saw all 3 of her acts through to next week, was next and she decided to send home......MISS FRANK.
The casting-vote was with Cheryl, who saw her 2 acts through as well. Her decision was to send home......DANYL.
Without a majority of votes, the result was in DEAD-LOCK, meaning that the act that got the least-votes was eliminated from the £1 million recording contract competition.
The act that got the least-amount of votes was......MISS FRANK.
So sadly, Miss Frank's X Factor journey has come to an end but wish them the best of luck for the future.
Want to watch it again? You can watch both The X Factor and The Xtra Factor online through ITV Player @ http://www.itv.com/itvplayer.
So another X Factor week comes to an end but another is on the way, which is 7 days away!
Good luck to our 9 remaining acts, the judges/mentors, the presenters and everyone of the X Factor team!
