Another week of The X Factor has ended but Weekend 3 starts in 5 days!
The 11 acts performed did all they can to win YOUR votes after a Saturday-night full of mixed-emotions and anticipating performances!
Despite criticisms in the build-up of the performance, whether it was going to be pre-recorded or live, our very own Cheryl Cole gave an incredible performance of her new, solo single 'Fight For This Love', which has secured TOP spot in this week's Big Top 40 Chart (iTunes Chart) and is OUT NOW!!!!
Showing Cheryl support were none-other than her Girls Aloud' bandmates and husband and Chelsea footballer Ashley Cole!
Also, pop diva Whitney Houston, who mentored the acts throughout the 2nd-week, gave a speechless performance of her new single 'Million Dollar Bill.'
After an incredible opener from our 11 acts and from Cheryl and Whitney, the decision was finally out!
Landing in the bottom-two were Rachel and Rikki so sadly, one of them was to leave the competition.
After giving hard-to-call performances, it was down to the judges' to decide.
Dannii was first to decide and she decided to defend her act. Her decision was to send home.......RIKKI.
Cheryl was next to decide and she too, like Dannii, decided to defend her act so she decided to send home.......RACHEL.
Without Louis, the casting vote was in Simon's hand and after some time, he decided to send home.......RIKKI.
So Rikki's X Factor journey is over but Rachel's X Factor dream continues!
Everyone in the studio cheered on as a caller from Dublin turned out to be the missing judge/mentor Louis Walsh, who phoned-in on The Xtra Factor.
After being asked whom he would have saved, Louis said that he would have decided to keep Rachel on the show!
However, we say goodbye to Rikki but we wish you luck for the future!

Our X Factor winner from last year, Alexandra Burke landed at NO#1 in the UK Singles Chart this week with her new single 'Bad Boys'
After a long-wait, her new album 'Overcome' has released NOW!
Also, as mentioned, our X Factor judge Cheryl Cole landed at NO#1 with her single 'Fight For This Love in the Big Top 40 Chart (iTunes Chart), which happened before she performed it on The X Factor last night!
