The X Factor series 9 - LIVE Show Weekend 4

DAYS LEFT FOR 5TH X FACTOR LIVE SHOW: Only 5 days to go!

DAYS LEFT FOR 5TH X FACTOR LIVE RESULTS' SHOW: Only 6 days to go!

Weekend 4 was one with a Halloween theme but it was also a challenge as 9 acts battled against each-other with their performances, as they fought to win YOUR votes and a place through to Weekend 5.

Originally, it was meant to be 10 acts but that wasn't the case, as Lucy Spraggan was unable to perform to due to illness, which meant that 9 acts performed on Saturday-night.

With Saturday-night all about the performances, Sunday-night was all about the results.

After performances from Robbie Williams and US band Fun, it was time to reveal those tension-ridden results, as 7 places from the public vote were up-for-grabs whilst the 8th place was up-for-grabs in the Final Showdown.

The 2 acts that had received the fewest votes were Union J and Jade Ellis so whatever the outcome, one of them was going to see the end of their X Factor journey. It also meant that the bottom-two was between Louis' and Tulisa's respective categories.

With Union J performing first and Jade performing last, it was decision time for the judges.

Louis was first-up and on the verge of tears, he defended his own act and opted to send home.....JADE.

Tulisa was next and with no-hesitation, she defended her own act and opted to send home.....UNION J.

Nicole, who saw all 3 of her acts through to Weekend 5, was next-up to decide and after some time, she decided to send home.....JADE.

Gary was left with the casting-vote and after quite a while, he decided to send home.....JADE.

Sadly, the X Factor journey came to an end for Jade Ellis, which also meant that Union J secured the 8th place and progress through to Weekend 5, which also meant that Tulisa lost her first-act in the competition.

Missed any of the action from Weekend 4 or do you want to relive it again? You can watch both The X Factor and The Xtra Factor online NOW on the ITV Player @ http://www.itv.com/itvplayer

Good luck to the 9 remaining acts, the judges/mentors, the presenters and everyone of the X Factor team!
